Our holistic approach to personal training incorporates safe, effective exercises with the goal of restoring the body back to optimal. It all starts with our comprehensive evaluation during your first session, utilizing testing and assessment of your body. We need to see and understand how your body is moving, and what is and isn’t working optimally. The sub-optimal areas can lead to pain and otherwise impede your health and exercise goals. The evaluation findings are then used to tailor a program that is specific to you.
Common movement issues often include:
- Poor posture
- Back pain
- Trouble losing weight
- Pain from exercising
- Weak core function
- Injuries
- Sore or tense muscles
- General aches and pains
- Sub-optimal sports performance
In creating your results-oriented exercise program we consider a number of factors including:
Optimizing your posture
- Determining your physiological load
- The time you are able to dedicate to your program
- How to create a balanced, functional body
- Proper sequencing of stretching and exercise for each muscle group
- Correcting faulty movement patterns that lead to pain and dysfunction
- Your unique biomotor abilities (strength, power, endurance, flexibility, coordination, balance, agility, and speed)
- Where you’ll be exercising and the equipment available (training packages can include a membership to Body Fitness.)
Why people choose corrective exercise programs:
- Reduces pain
- Improves sports performance
- Reduces sports/exercise related injuries
- Corrects imbalances in the body
- Achieves health goals
- Strengthens the core
