Are you confused about which diet really is the healthiest? (Because proponents from low-carb, high-fat, vegan, raw, paleo, low-fat, sugar-free, gluten-free, you name it, all claim their way of eating is best.) The truth is each person is different, so it’s hard to say any one diet is truly best. As your body and health changes, your dietary needs may change too. That’s why our plan is customized to your body’s needs. We always start with several assessments including metabolic typing.
Or maybe you know eating more whole food is good, but not sure how to make the switch? There’s lots of buzz about eating whole, real food these days. The toxins and chemicals in processed food is the source of many health issues. Kids reacting to red dye, is a common example. Or getting headaches from MSG is another.
Let us take the stress and guesswork out of deciding what you need to eat. Of course we will focus on the quality of your food too, helping you move towards real food instead of packaged, processed food if you haven’t already. Also if you look at all those “diets” you’ll see many of them agree on certain areas too which we will likely incorporate. Sadly, there’s no magic cure or superfood ingredient you need to eat every day either. We will encourage you to eat as many different veggies as possible though and to include nutrient dense options too.

Lifestyle Coaching
If you are just interested in the food coaching or corrective exercises, either are a good starting place. However it’s important to keep in mind that it really takes all six wellness principles working in harmony together to be at our best. Even if you think your health and wellness goals focus on just one area, you might be surprised how much more effective it can be when you also incorporate the others.

The six wellness principles covered in lifestyle coaching packages include:
- Nutrition—sadly much of the “standard American diet” barely resembles the food produced by nature. We’ll use a customized approach starting with metabolic typing to help you find the right balance of fat, carbohydrates, and protein for your body. We’ll help you remove the toxins and add the nutrients and minerals your body needs.
- Hydration—water is a very important ingredient to keep your body functioning properly, however you may be surprised about the effects other beverages have on you too.
- Sleep—we’ll help you find the best times for sleep and figure out how to get the best quality sleep to keep your body functioning at its best.
- Thinking—your thoughts have a huge impact on your health and way of living so we’ll make sure you’re keeping them in line with your purpose and goals.
- Moving—our bodies were meant to move, not sit at a desk all day. Since most of us can’t change the desk part, we’ll work on other areas of your movement and get you feeling great while you exercise.
- Breathing—it’s so basic to our core functions, yet stress over time has changed the way most of us breath in a natural state. They way you breath has a huge impact on how your body responds.
